What is Heart Mind Well Being?
Heart-Mind Well-Being is how we define “Educating the Heart”. This concept comes from the Dalai Lama’s belief that we need to balance education of the mind with education of the heart.
Research shows that if we nurture social and emotional development (what we call Heart-Mind Well-Being), it will positively impact mental and physical health, as well as cognitive abilities.
Five key aspects to Heart-Mind Well-Being are:
